- About Us
Locksmith Seattle’s corporate vision -assisting our clients to achieve the best security framework using the latest technologies- demonstrates the deep understanding our business has about the customers in the new century. But this knowledge of the needs of our citizens goes way back to the roots of our company’s history.
In the early post-war years, Mark Hill, founder of Locksmith Seattle, wrote in his notebook his dream of a “revolutionary locksmith service with the aim of lessening the risk of being robbed at home and protecting new businesses”. He opened the first store in 1950, taking advantage of the economic growth brought by huge enterprises like Boeing, which took this city as a home then. He said the idea came to him when he saw how two burglars violated the front door of a retail store downtown: “they just hammered the lock twice and that was it, it should be harder than that to get through”. Mr. Hill’s writings were way before the invention of the term “Corporate Vision”, but his ideas permeated the company to the extent of becoming our central guidelines and the reason of our success.
To reach our goals, our company entrust its success in our human resources. We educate our workers to serve always thinking in what the client wants and how he wants it. Our trainee program has graduated more than a hundred of locksmiths over the years and most of them are still active.
We set as a goal for next years to expand our reach to nearby cities and become the leading locksmith service in the state of Washington.
